The Arkansas Table Tennis Academy is a proud co-sponsor of the upcoming 2019 USATT/ITTF Hopes Training Camp and Qualifying Tournament at the Little Rock Table Tennis Club (LRTTC) to be held on Saturday-Sunday, February 22-24, 2019 at the Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatic Center. 

This national training camp, organized by USA Table Tennis, is the first-ever Hopes camp in Arkansas' table tennis history!

Young players ages 15 will receive expert coaching and training from USATT National Coaches for three days in a fun, rewarding environment in which they will have an opportunity to meet peers and share experiences.  The coaching team includes:  USATT High Performance Director Joerg Bitzigeio, USATT National Coaches Mike Lauro (Little Rock, AR) and Russ Hamilton (Bentonville, AR).

The weekend will include challenging and fun training sessions and tournament events.   It is open to junior players born after January 1, 2007, however players up to age 15 may be accepted provided there is space available. There is a limit of 24 entries. Only players born after January 1, 2007 are eligible to qualify in the tournament for the next stage - the USATT Hopes Week and Challenge to be held in April 2019. Older players will play in a junior event at the tournament. Participation in the tournament on Sunday requires participation in the two days of the camp on Friday and Saturday.

The 2019 USATT Hopes Program is a series of regional, national and international camps and competitions designed to spark motivation and interest for skilled and talented young table tennis athletes who have a love for table tennis and who wish to become high-level players.
