Team League Results from July 7, 2019

The ARKTTA Team League is a refreshing and competitive table tennis league format based on the T2Diamond Professional League.  (Facebook - T2Diamond)

The rules are different from traditional table tennis rules in order to provide a new experience for seasoned players and to spark excitement in players who are new to the sport.

The Team League will launch on Sunday June 30, and will take place from 2:00pm to 5:30pm on Sundays.

Teams will consist of at least 2 players but can have more. For any 2 players on a team, they cannot have USATT combined USATT rating of more than 3400. For example, a team can have 3 players, but they can't have ratings of 2000, 1500, and 1000 because the first 2 players have combined rating over 3400).  For players without a USATT rating, one will be estimated based on your skill level.  Other players may substitute for another player on a team but they must fit under the 3400 rating cap.  In other words, the 2 players on a team who play a match must have a combined rating of less than 3400.

Each league season will consist of a certain number of stage rounds and one championship round.  Initially we may use 3- or 4-month seasons.

We will track standings for teams and individual players.

After all stage rounds in a season are concluded, all players and teams will qualify for the championship round.  The championship round will be a single elimination main draw for individuals and a separate draw for teams.  Players and teams will be seeded according to finish positions in the stage rounds.
